Meet Randy
Randy J. Wallace is an experienced attorney and exemplary candidate for the Court of Appeals, poised to bring his wealth of experience and insight to the bench. 1995
Wallace graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
1998
Randy earned his Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University Law School. He later returned to his alma mater to play an important role in mentoring the next generation of lawyers by serving as a judge for the Student Trial Advocacy Program and volunteering as a judge for the Legal Research and Writing department’s first-year oral argument program.
2004 - 2024
As an active member of the legal community, Randy has served on the Executive Board of the Michigan Association for Justice (formerly MTLA) since 2004, contributing significantly to the organization's mission to promote a fair and effective justice system. He has co-chaired and participated in the New Lawyer's Committee, organizing and moderating annual workshops to assist new attorneys in developing their law practices.
2005 - 2024
Since 2005, Randy has been a case evaluator for the Circuit Court in Oakland County, Michigan, and has also served as an arbitrator in independent arbitrations, further showcasing his commitment to the legal community.
2009 - 2024
Since 2009 to present, Wallace has been a member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Civil Procedure & Courts Committee.
2010 & 2011
Named to Michigan's Super Lawyer list, multiple years, showcasing his expertise and dedication to the legal profession.
2012 & 2013
Randy's expertise has been displayed in his speeches on Premises Liability for the Michigan Association for Justice in 2012 and 2013, as well as presentations to new lawyers and law students.

Served as chair of the State Bar of Michigan’s Civil Procedure & Courts Committee from 2018 to 2020.

Again, Randy was named to Michigan's Super Lawyer list, this time, 5 years in a row.
2021 - 2024
Pursuant to an appointment by the Michigan Supreme Court, Wallace has served on The Committee On Model Jury Instructions since December of 2021
Wallace was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan, where he has represented clients in more than forty different circuit, district, and probate courts throughout the state, he is also licensed to practice in several federal courts, including the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, the Northern District of Indiana, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, demonstrating his versatility and ability to handle complex legal matters.
